DID YOU KNOW?
In Week 16, we are learning about iconic individuals that found empowerment in their struggle. I am amazed by the story of Ben Carson of how the his classmate chose him as the "Class Dunce." I am empowered by Carson's story of being a low performing student to being the first person in history to separate  conjoined twins and they are still living today!

In assignment 16.2 you are required to create a Empower-themed Movie Poster. I hope you will find an inspirational person to play the leading role in your poster. You are free to draw your image and snap a photo using your smartphone to upload to your EP! I'm seeing a lot of great posters!

DID YOU KNOW?
This week we are embracing the power of integrity! In our society we are faced with difficult obstacles that can involve standing by ourselves in order to make a stand! Integrity encompasses having a honest and diligent personality. I was impressed to view Boniface Mwangi's courageous speech about the day he had to stand alone. He was known as Softy because he was referred was being a harmless boy a person that will not make a difference. Mwangi was faced with a decision at the local public meeting, in that moment he made a decision that changed the course of his life! Take a look at Mwangi's and see how we can apply his speech to this week's lesson!
